Lena Flaten runs Flammans Skafferi and Skurdalsporten Fjellstue. She is an award winning chef and local entrepreneur. Born and raised in this boarder country she is driven by passion, hard work and the love to locally produced ingredients. Lena work with relationships- food, it means that she has a relationship with the fishermen, the hunter and friends who pick the berries, mushrooms and everything else that she serves. Enaforsholm Fjällgård is an old mountain farm. Nowdays its owned by The Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry and hosted by friendly chef Elinor and her partner Peter. It is a small guesthouse and a hidden gem for tourists. Not only Elinor and Peter run the everyday business by them self, they take care of ingredients to the three course menus by them self. They hunt, pick berries and preserve fine ingredients all year round. At Enaforsholm Fjällgård we breath the history of farming, mountains and culture.
