How to get here
This is how to get to to Jämtland and my beautiful part of Sweden. With only 20 kilometers to Norway, this is a right in the heart of Scandinavia.
By Train. The easiest way to get here is by train, there are both night and day trains from the major cities in Sweden. Most of the tours are adapted to when the morning train arrives. Snälltåget, SJ and Norrtåg will take you here. The nearest train stations are Storlien or Enafors. Let me know which train you’re coming on and I’ll meet you. Book your ticket online for a easy travel. Pack your bags and show the E-ticket when on the train.
By plane. Our nearest airport is about 80 kilometers away, Værnes International Airport. From here there are daily departures to many of the largest European cities. If you want to fly domestically, Östersund/Åre airport is 170 kilometers away. Let me know which train you’re coming on and I’ll meet you.
By car. Jämtlandsfjällen is easy to reach by car. E14 leads you straight here. There are chargers for electric cars along the way. Exact positions can be found here.
Where we stay
We stay at three different cabins.
The first night we stay at a small cabin with only 10 beds. We enjoy the simple life, sauna and being the only group.
The second night we head to a well planed and larger cabin/cottage hosted by The Norweigan Tourist Association. We make our own dinner and there might be other guests around.
The third night is spend with full board at a staffed tourist cabin, this is one of the smallest staffed cabins in all of Norway so its still very personal and cozy. We ger 3-course dinner and can have a shower.

Single rooms are not always available but we value your own time and the opportunity for your own reflection. The room allocation is made by the guide, you may have your own wishes which we try to meet as best as possible.
