Glide along the river Enan in a stable kayak, hike a wild nature reserve, to mountain peaks with endless views and enjoy the simple Nordic outdoor life. Get the uniqe chance to stay in a Sámi summer village. We sleep in a local cabin for 4 nights and 1 night in the small huts in the Sámi village, have some meals cooked by the fire.

Learn more about the indigenous people of Europé- the Sámis. Reindeer herding is central to the Sami way of life. In the summer, the reindeer herders gather for the year’s biggest holiday, the calf marking. We are lucky to be able to stay in some of theirs private small huts. There are no other tourists here, but if we’re lucky we come across one of the reindeer herders.
The magic green lake
A hidden gem and local guide Sofie´s private favorite. A full day of hiking. We have lunch outdoors and the keep hiking. Fresh air, the pace of nature and wild streams are on the schedule for today.
Meet likeminded in a small group
This trip are picked for a small group. To make sure you have a familiar and cozy experience we are no more than 10 persons. My guests are curious, social nature lovers who enjoy to make conversations , learn local traditions and listening to stories by the fire.
What would life without great local food?
I belive food is a big part of getting to know a certain place. On all tours you get to taste what Handöl and Jämtland really taste like. An intriguing combination of traditional Jämtland, Sámi, Norweigan and Swedish food make this a true cultural experience. My backyard has the taste from the mountains, the lakes and the forrest beside us. The food are prepared only for us and are adjusted after the seasons and the nature.

The naked truth
We stay in a traditional cabin max 10 persons
There is no electricity, we share the outside toilet and there is no running water in the Sami hut
In the local cabin there are single and double rooms, nice showers and water closets.
The hikes and activities are adjusted for your level
The kayak tours are adjusted according to weather
This is a true uniq and genuine experience- this is our lifestyle. We live close to nature and adjust all activites after it
We are using great stabile and rough kayaks from Divine Paddle
